ROLE (Rivers, Oceans, Land, and Ecology) Project was founded with the idea to improve the environment polluted by increased waste generation system in Karoi, Mash West Province in Zimbabwe by providing education and lifelong skills to waste workers, CBOs, NGOs, businesses, corporates, local authorities, companies and communities at large. ROLE Project became aware of the absence of regulated waste management systems in and its effect on the environment and the health of the local communities, and was established the with the urge to do something about this.
